Tea and Symphony's Chicken, Tofu & Fish Snacks and Milk Tea

Summer is officially here and what better way to quench your thirst than to visit and enjoy the new tea shop in Metro Cebu, Tea and Symphony.

Its name says it all. Tea and Symphony is inspired by flower and leaf beverages coupled with pleasant music.

The music in the place changes daily. Songs of different genres local and foreign are featured.

The interior design is simple as intended to be by the owners. There are not much room embellishments.

White chairs in fours surround round-top tables.

At a nook you can find two single couches

Random shelves and photographs are suspended against the wall.

This is the shop's announcement board. New menu items and promos are posted here.

Costumers can freely post their comments on this whiteboard.

The flooring is lovely. It has a Mediterranean touch.

You may have noticed that the colors that dominate the shop aside from white is red. This is because the owners are Chinese. For them, red gives the store a homey feeling.

Their beverages are categorized as Milk Tea, Fruit Tea and Non-tea. Under these sorts are different flavors which are fresh from Taiwan, China and Japan.

Their containers are basically alike with most tea drinks in the market. I personally admire the logo.

Dealing with the differences of the milk teas of the store requires a keen mind. There are slight differences when comparing the tastes.

Formosa, one of their milk teas is like Soya milk, only sweeter and tougher in taste..

As of the season, the store offers only three snacks namely Chicken, Tofu and Fish. These are Taiwanese street foods.

The chicken akin nuggets. They are deep-fried and taste so sweet.

The Tofu is tasty. It's soft but not saggy.

The fish is too sweet. It's sprinkled with more than enough garnishings.

Expect new items on the menu in the next couple of months.

Tea and Symphony opens everyday from 9:00am to 10:00pm on weekdays and 1:00pm to 10:00pm on weekends. They are located at UC Banilad Building.
