Malaysia, Here I Come!

Hours from now, I'll be having my first out-of-the-country trip. I'm going to Malaysia along with bloggers and media agents to experience the maiden flight of AirAsia Zest Philippines-Malaysia network route and discover the country through the itinerary prepared by the Tourism of Malaysia for the next three days.

I've heard so many people rave about Malaysia and I can't wait to see what it really has to offer - to get a taste of that first-hand experience myself. At the moment, I know nothing more about Malaysia except for the fact that it’s part of Asia; there’s this talked-about building called Petronas which will take almost four hours to travel by plane.  I won’t do much research after this post. I want to discover Malaysia only when I get there. So Malaysia, surprise me!

  • FOOD. It's best to experience the culture of a foreign country through stomach. Not only that, I’ll finally get to taste authentic Malaysian dishes. There are only a few restaurants in my hometown that claim to serve authentic Malaysian dishes. As for me, it's only authentic when it's prepared by a Malaysian-grown cook and of course, in Malaysia itself.

  • RACING. Aside from the food, there is nothing else that I am more excited about than racing, or any sport for that matter. I conducted a brief research during my spare time in school days ago. Lo and behold, I found out that there is this Malaysian Grand Prix. This is a place I serrriiiouuussllly have to visit. I really wish I could find time to visit the place. It would definitely be a moment I could not dare forget.

There are so many places for my companions and I to visit throughout the trip and I can't wait to start! I am absolutely thrilled to see, drink and indulge in the experience that is Malaysia.
